We are looking for a competent and efficient data engineer to join an AI Roots team to design and implement a major BI reporting renewal for a global process industry customer. In the data engineer role, your key responsibility is the implementation of data pipelines according the target data architecture, as designed by the lead developer of the team. You will transform SAP ERP and other source data on the data platform landing zone to models and views that enable easy implementation of Power BI reports by the team's BI developer. You will assess the quality and coverage of the data against KPI definitions and design & optimize performant data marts to support a great user experience also for the reports that are based on big data. You may also participate to the ingestion of source data from ERP to the data platform. DBT is a key tool in your daily work, Snowflake is utilized as a database engine.
To succeed in the role you have:

- Solid working experience with DBT in a large scale projects
- Excellent SQL skills
- Previous experience with designing and implementing data models & views using ERP data (preferable SAP) for Power BI reporting
- Experience with data ingestion tools (e.g. Aecorsoft)
- Good understanding on CI/CD
- Good team working skills, can-do attitude
- Previous experience with Snowflake is a plus
- Power Bi development skills are a plus
