Our customer that develops medical devices is looking for a senior data scientist to augment an in-house R&D team to develop intelligent, world class services for predicting most likely treatment parameters from CT scan data and structure contours. Successful proof of concept solutions using deep learning-based image analysis methods already exist, you will further develop them towards commercial solutions.

- Good theoretical understanding and practical experience in applying modern deep learning methods to image data
- Rock solid Python developer skills, knowledge and experience in Tensorflow; additional experience with PyTorch would be an advantage.
- Preferably previous experience in medical image analysis and interest to learn the domain fast
- Knowledge and experience with uncertainty quantification methods for the models’ predictions; knowledge of Bayesian approaches used for this purpose would be an advantage, but not mandatory
- Proven experience in applying machine vision, image analysis to develop commercial products or services in the industrial setting would be an advantage, but not mandatory
- Experience with modern software development and deployment practices
