Our customer is looking for an experienced IT Solutions Area Architect. In this role you will help the CIO office to ensure that IT services and solutions align with business objectives and strategies. You will lead the design, planning, and implementation of a centralized business application environment, covering sales, marketing, HR, and finance systems.
Three main themes have been identified:
- Consolidation of 7 group company IT environments under one (long term)
- Group wide Hubspot roll out (short term)
- Kick off of new Financial ERP project starting with architecture assessment and spec definition (medium term)
Our client is simultaneously hiring for this position which has an impact on the potential length of the contract. Minimun 2-3 months, up to 6 months contract. The person suitable for this project is comfortable in dynamic environments capable of adapting as the circumstances may change quite rapidly. Furthermore the capability to keep things simple helps manage this relatively complex current state. The main area of responsibility will revolve around Business applications (CRM, ERP, HR etc). The following experience gives a sense of what the client is looking for:
- Several years of experience as an IT Solutions Architect in a global company.
- Several years of experience in ideally at least two of the following areas in the role of an application specialist, solution owner or application architect: sales, marketing, HR, or finance
- Strong ability to analyze business requirements and turn them into practical IT solutions.
- Familiar with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and explain technical concepts in a way that business users can easily understand.
- Ability to create high-quality, visually clear documents.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are seen as an advantage (Finnish is not a requirement). The environment is international.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% if needed.

- M&A experience (mergers & acquisitions)
