We are looking for a skilled data engineer to support our client with data modeling and reporting for data sourced from SAP. The data (JSON) is ingested into Snowflake and needs to be parsed, cleaned, and modeled for reporting purposes. The consultant will work within a medallion architecture framework and ensure the data is properly transformed and enriched for analytical use. Candidate should be capable of handling the data pipeline, from ingested JSON data and transformation in Dbt/Snowflake to delivering structured reports in Power BI.

- Strong experience with Snowflake and dbt for data transformation and modeling.
- Proficiency in Power BI for report development and visualization.
- Familiarity working with JSON.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and medallion architecture.
- Ability to implement data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment techniques.
- Strong testing, validation, and documentation skills.

- Location: Remote (within Finland), possibility to visit on-site in Helsinki
- Language: english, finnish considered a plus but not a must
- Assignment starts with a 4 week PoC period. With a successful PoC the assignment can extend 2 months.
