Our client from the energy sector is looking for a seasoned consultant to join the internal team tasked to design an enterprise-wide AI Governance Policy during 1H2025.
Currently Gen AI tools like M365 co-pilot are widely deployed in the organization. Furthermore, different business units are developing customized chatbots and other AI-powered services to enhance the internal operations and customer experience. While some components of a mature AI governance model are already in place, many key pieces are still missing. Roles and responsibilities related to the lifecycle management of AI services are partially defined, and some compliance risks analyzed and controlled. Systematic AI governance processes, guardrails and controls shared by the organization are still mostly missing or are in an incomplete state, however.
In the assignment you’ll work as a part of the Enterprise AI Office responsible for providing guidelines and controls for the safe use of AI. Starting from an existing material you will lead the design of the first iteration of the holistic AI Governance policy for the enterprise. The goal of the policy is to mitigate the critical compliance risks related to AI, and to define realistic and efficient processes for managing the lifecycle of AI powered services. You will be supported by the internal experts with plenty of domain experience and context understanding. Your key contributions to the project are an in-depth understanding of AI governance frameworks and experience in applying the frameworks in practice. You will facilitate the design project efficiently, to ensure the project goals are met within the schedule. Internal technical experts and architects support the work when needed.
To succeed in the role you have
- Good understanding of recent developments in AI, including the related business opportunities and risks
- Proven knowledge of AI governance frameworks, their strengths and weaknesses
- Experience in applying the AI governance frameworks in real-world projects
- Strong experience in leading enterprise level governance or operating model design projects
- Ability to engage stakeholders with different backgrounds and targets to work towards a common goal
- Understanding of AI related regulation like AI Act
Project will commence in January, the Group AI Governance Policy needs to be ready for approval in 1H.
