In this area of power plant optimization, they have two different, separate use cases they would be looking to build new prediction models for. They currently have legacy models running and want to explore if there is better ways to predict the power consumption with new ML technology.
The first phase would be exploratory phase where the goal would be to explore possible models and their feasibility including model accuracy. Idea would be to finish this first phase before September, and then decide if the tested models would be good enough to proceed forward.
It would be beneficial to have past experience with Marine industry, and/or hydrodynamics. But it might be possible to succeed even without this specific experience, since the client could provide guidance on that part, and one of the use cases might require only data-based models.
