Our customer is looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead their ML team. This is an interim role with 50% allocation, but can expand and become longer term project. The ideal candidate can master both technical leadership and hands-on coding. The work requires up-to-date and deep machine learning knowledge, especially in the realm of live sensor stream-based classification. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience deploying machine learning models into real products.

Model and algorithm development
Model performance improvement
Model deployment
Sensor parameter definition
Model training speed and memory efficiency improvement
Team leadership

Requirements

The ideal candidate have the following attributes:

Experience: Proven experience in developing and deploying ML models to end consumers
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of signal processing, time series classification, and machine learning.
- Excellent in Python and PyTorch
Leadership: Bring seniority to the team and support in technical direction
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give technical and team member feedback.
