Our client is implementing a new business critical system to manage operating systems in multiple locations. Client needs Junior testers to support Senior tester and QA team in executing test plans and identifying defects across both digital and core systems. Testers play pivotal role for ensuring all systems are ready for implementation.
Testers work with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and verify that the delivered software meets functional and business needs. This role provides an opportunity to develop skills in manual testing techniques under guidance.
Main responsibilities:

Main responsibilities:
- Execute test cases across digital platforms (mobile,web) and coresystems including backend and data migrations.
- Conduct manual Functional testing, including SIT, UAT and Module Conficuration Testing.
- Perform basic Non-Functional Testing, including Accessibility and Performance Testing.
- Identify,log and track defects through a defect tracking system, ensuring proper follow-up with development teams.
- Assist in the preparation of test data for use in functional and non-functional tests.
- Participate in test planning sessions, providing insights on test coverage and execution progress.
- Support the deployment and configuration of test environments for digital and core systems testing.
You will succed in this role if
- You have 1-2 years experience of software testing, preferably with exposure to both digital (web,mobile) and core (backend, data integration) systems
- You have understanding of system integrations, APIs and digital user interfaces.
- You are familiar with testing and tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRail) and you have experience of Agile/DevOps environments.
- You have strong communication skills and you have ability to follow detailed test plans and finding issues in software behavior.
Fluent in Finnish and in English is required.
Familiarity with data migration processes is a plus.
Basic knowledge if compliance testing (e.g. GDPR) and security best practices considered a plus.
